Need a room re-do....

Let Shining Light Creation help you if you are in need of a room re-do! It doesn't take much time, effort OR money even! Let us come in, see what we can do with what you have and what we can purchase to spiff up your place in no time. On a budget? Who isn't?! I just made over our powder room, kitchen and living room for UNDER $200!!! That's right! UNDER $200! With today's economy we all would love to have a "new look" but we can't always afford the new flooring, new furniture or even new fixtures. BUT with a little help from SLC you can get that "new" look without the new price!

Here are a few pics from our recent re-do! I don't have pics of the powder room just yet.

Our living room colors used to be primarily red, so I "re-made" the pillows by creating pillow shams and all the fabric was 30% off so it was a great deal!

I used to leftover fabric to create the wall art, which I plan on making more of!
The center piece on the wall I found at Goodwill and re-purposed it!
The lamps I found on craigslist for $5 WITH the lamp shades. All the needed was some paint!

More "re-made" pillows with SLC created pillow shams!
The quilt was made by my grandmother.
The suit cases came from our parents besides the blue one,
we picked that one up at a local thrift store for cheap!

Amazing what a paint color will do! This kitchen used to be deep burgundy.
My brother-in-law thought we had taken out a wall or something...I am dead serious.
Just paint!
Found the clock, the trunk and the mail holder at the antique shop!

Awesome Coke Cooler...from my parents!

New lighting fixture from another local antique shop for less than $25!
Table cloth is just a piece of scrap fabric in the discount basket at Hobby Lobby!

Picture is a Three Pennies creation! We scored this awesome print of Atlanta from them as part of their donation from us for their recent mission trip to Haiti.
And there's my awesome new floral arrangement!
Misc. old books from parents. Clock was a wedding gift!
Half off white decor from Hobby Lobby...I buy nothing unless it's on sale for cheap!

The majority of the items on our pie safe is from my parents.
We found a few of these pieces at a local antique shop!

Old radio is from my parents...dad found this on eBay and best part is...it WORKS!!!
The wooden box is from my dad. He brought this back from Thailand during the Vietnam War.

Window pane was found at a local junk store, re-made of course and old
pics are all of our family! Old phone is from my dad.
Gossip chair found for $30 at an antique shop!

This was an easy way to get a "new" room and look for less!
SLC would love to help you create a "new" room for less!
